With beautiful sunshine & no wind yesterday, conditions were perfect for photographing a Red-necked Phalarope that had been found at Pegwell Bay in Kent the previous day. The bird was very confiding, coming to within 20 feet at times as it fed, continually picking tiny insects off the waters surface. A pleasant couple of hours spent in the company of this great little bird and other photographers.
